First Impressions
I arrived at Smoke on the Ridge around 10:15–10:30 AM needing a serious coffee boost. Among the food trucks and vendors, only one coffee option stood out which was A&J’s Pick-Me-Up-Truck. They immediately became heroes in my book because without them, I probably would have had to wait hours to get my caffeine fix. Their setup was inviting, and the barista greeted us warmly, making sure our order came out just right.
What We Ordered
I went with an iced pumpkin latte made with almond milk and topped with cold foam. It had just the right amount of pumpkin flavor and a smooth, creamy finish that hit the spot. The barista even checked in to make sure the drink was to my liking, offering to adjust it if needed which was a nice personal touch that made the experience even better.
My son got a warm salted pretzel, which he said was super good because it was buttery. (He loves a little extra butter on everything.) He ate the whole thing in about five minutes, so I think it’s safe to say he enjoyed it.
