First Impression
Even walking in for a quick stop, the atmosphere immediately stood out. Hanging plants EVERYWHERE! This place is huge with high ceilings, tons of seating, and a layout that felt airy, calm, and cozy all at once. If we weren’t on a 7-hour drive through Missouri to Tennessee, I absolutely would’ve loved to sit and stay a while.
What We Ordered
- Me: Caramel shaken espresso was bold, strong, definitely a pick-me-up
- My husband: Iced banana nut bread latte with caramel was sweet, creative, and tasted just like the name promised
We didn’t try food on this visit, but the coffee itself was high-quality and brewed strong. No weak lattes here!

Toasty Goat Coffee Co. gives you everything you want from a modern coffee shop: clean lines, warm touches, and tons of seating. It’s the kind of place you could bring a laptop, meet a friend, or just get lost in a book for hours.
Mom Win
While we didn’t bring the kids or get to stay, it looked super family-friendly. Spacious layout, room for strollers or bags, and a calm vibe, not overly noisy or hectic. Definitely adding this to the list of “must-stop” places on future road trips.
Did not see any child area, but spacious enough for kids to join.

Even though we were just passing through Columbia, MO. Toasty Goat Coffee Co. made a strong impression, literally. The drinks were bold, the space was beautiful, and it’s now on my must-return list if we ever head through again.
Highly recommend it for an afternoon pick-me-up, a cozy place to sit and sip, or a fun stop on a road trip through Missouri.
Because even on the road, coffee does it.
