First Impression

This is my go-to stop before work usually once a week when I need a little boost to jumpstart the day. The Sedalia Starbucks is reliable, quick, and almost always gets my order just right.

Whether I’m running through the drive-thru or stepping in to stretch the morning a little longer, the staff is friendly and the drinks are consistent. It may be a chain, but there’s something comforting about knowing exactly what you’re going to get, and loving it every time.

What We Order

Me:

Iced Shaken Espresso with Caramel & almond milk topped with cold foam (espresso nice and bold, caramel is smooth, lightly sweet, and the cold foam makes it nice and creamy).

Other Favorites I Love

Non-dairy Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew (velvety, light, and dreamy).

Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso (bold, and balanced).

Iced Honey Almond Milk Flat White (subtly sweet, creamy, and perfectly comforting).

My husband: literally any frappe the sweeter(but strong), the better.

My daughter: The Pink Drink (her go-to treat and totally kid-approved), or a caramel and mocha frappe.

Vibe Check

The Sedalia Starbucks is clean and inviting, but it’s definitely on the smaller side when it comes to layout. There are a few indoor seats for quick stops or solo coffee moments, but it’s not really the kind of space you’d camp out in with a laptop or bring a group to hang out. Since it’s not overly large, it can get busy during peak hours, but the team usually keeps things moving. There’s something nice about seeing the same familiar faces behind the counter too, especially when they already know your order.

That said, the drive-thru and mobile app ordering make it super convenient, especially for busy mornings on the go.

Mom Win

Starbucks is a go-to for a reason. Even with longer wait times during peak hours, the mobile app makes it super easy to order ahead and skip the line. Between my almond milk shaken espressos, my husband’s frappe obsession, and my daughter’s love for the Pink Drink. It’s one stop that keeps us all happy with minimal chaos.
