First Impressions
Daily Grind in Nashville is a coffee shop with a cool, welcoming vibe. Right away I noticed the huge mural on the side of the building, and an American flag & pride flag displayed outside the shop. When I walked in, I noticed all the patterned chairs, and fun wall art. Even though the baristas were busy during my visit, they were incredibly kind and made the experience enjoyable.
What I Ordered
I went with my usual: an iced caramel latte with almond milk. While the size ran on the smaller side (about 12–16 oz for a large) and came in at over $7, the flavor was excellent. The caramel and espresso balanced perfectly, and the almond milk gave it a smooth finish. It was so good, I finished it quickly. The price felt a little steep, but the taste made it worth it.
What Makes It Special
The shop has a retail section with gifts, mugs, coffees, granola, and more. A fun surprise was spotting small Pokémon pins and characters, which my son loved hearing about.
The Vibe Check
The shop has a lot of personality. From the neat seating variety of chairs, tables, and a cozy couch. There’s an assortment of quirky décor, and plenty to take in. I only grabbed my coffee to-go, but I enjoyed walking around the space and soaking in the atmosphere.
Mom Win
Finding a spot with great coffee and little extras like Pokémon items. It gave me something fun to share with my son while enjoying my own moment of caffeine.
