First Impressions
We were road-tripping home from North Carolina to Tennessee when we made a sweet little pit stop in downtown Knoxville. And honestly? It turned into such a fun afternoon. Between grabbing lunch, visiting the world’s largest Rubik’s Cube, and checking out all the charming shops in the area, Knoxville totally won us over.
Coffee & Chocolate immediately caught our eye (and our cravings). The name alone felt like a promise, and it definitely delivered.
What We Ordered
I got an iced caramel latte with almond milk, and it was perfection. Sweet, smooth, and just the right amount of nutty flavor from the almond milk. My husband ordered an iced caramel marshmallow latte, and his was delicious too. Sweet, mellow, and creamy.
The kids were just as thrilled.
- Our daughter chose a few macarons and loved every bite.
- Our son picked a golden dark chocolate bar, and we tried a couple of the store’s artisan chocolates that are rich, velvety, and beautiful to look at.

Finding a place that keeps everyone in the family happy is rare, but Coffee & Chocolate did just that. A little sugar for the kids, a great coffee for us, and a relaxing pit stop in a beautiful city. Total win.

We’re about three hours from Knoxville, but we’re already planning a trip back, not just for the coffee and chocolate (though that’s reason enough), but because downtown Knoxville is packed with hidden gems. We can’t wait to try even more coffee shops on our next visit.
