First Impressions
We didn’t let a little rain stop us from driving 40 minutes to check out Café Du Burg and it was worth the trip. The shop is spacious, pretty clean, and decorated with soft tones and thoughtful details that give it an airy, inviting feel.
One of the most unique things we noticed? A prayer wall near the back of the shop. It’s a quiet space where customers can write and leave their own requests. They were actually out of the prayer cards when we visited, which we took as a good sign that the wall gets a lot of love.
We even stopped at a local thrift store afterward, which made the whole morning feel like a mini adventure.
What We Ordered
I went with my go-to: an iced caramel latte with almond milk which was smooth, and creamy but not too strong and a little milk heavy.
My husband tried the seasonal drink flight, which included:
Lavender Lemon Drop

Chateau Berry (The best!)
Strawberry-Fields Energy
Our favorite? Hands down the Chateau Berry which had a stronger espresso profile with a hint of chocolate that made it rich and absolutely delicious.
Our 4-year-old even got a tiny taste of each (don’t worry it was just a sip!) and loved the Lavender Lemon Drop. He would’ve finished the whole cup if we let him!

Café Du Burg hits the sweet spot between charming and modern. Lots of open space, natural lighting, and a layout that doesn’t feel cramped. The music was soft, the energy was relaxed, and the staff was welcoming.
Perfect for: solo sips, study days, or catching up with friends.
Mom Win
This was a family trip, and the café made it easy to enjoy. Our son was able to sit with us, try little sips, and feel included in the fun. Even though there wasn’t a specific play area, the wide layout and friendly vibe kept everything calm and low-stress.
Next time, I’m definitely planning to try their banana foster waffles and vanilla cold brew with caramel cold foam and both sounded amazing!
