First Impressions

Stompin’ Grounds Coffee House has a charming antiquey style with rustic touches that immediately stood out. Inside, the coffee shop offers several different rooms, each with its own personality and seating options, from cozy nooks to open tables. The darker ambiance gives it a creative, moody feel, perfect for working or chatting. Outdoor seating is also available if you prefer fresh air. When we visited, it was busy and filled with people working or enjoying their drinks, which made the space feel lively and well loved inside and out.

What We Ordered

We decided to try one of their preset coffee flights, which come as curated boards rather than customizable options. The board we chose included four drinks that were larger than expected. While enjoyable, we were a little disappointed that seasonal flights could not be customized to include all the new flavors. A customizable seasonal flight option would make the experience even better.

In addition to the flight, we each ordered our own coffees.

• I ordered the Pumpkin Crème Brulee with almond milk, a seasonal favorite that was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced.

• My mother in law ordered the Glazed Cinnamon Bun Mocha, a sweet and cozy fall drink.

While their preset flights may not allow full customization, the Pumpkin Crème Brulee is worth the trip. It is a coffee shop that feels both unique and community driven, and I look forward to going back to try more of their seasonal specials.

The Pumpkin Crème Brulé with almond milk was the win for me. It hit all the right notes for a fall favorite and is something I would happily order again. I already have my eye on the Brown Sugar Pumpkin Cloud Cold Brew for next time, and outside of seasonal drinks, I will definitely try their iced caramel latte.
