Sunday System for Smoother Weeks

If your weeks feel chaotic before they even begin, you’re not alone! This weekly reset checklist is designed to help you enter Monday feeling prepared, not panicked. Whether you’re juggling school schedules, military life, work, or all of the above, this simple Sunday system will help.

Calendar & Schedule

  • Review upcoming appointments and school events
  • Add new appointments to the shared family calendar
  • Coordinate drop-offs/pickups for the week
  • Confirm therapy, doctor, or specialist times
  • Check school emails for forms, field trips, reminders, and events

Clothing & Gear

  • Set out one week of clothes in a bin organizer for each child
  • Clean out school backpacks; refill diaper bag or daycare bag
  • Prep gym clothes, sports uniforms, or special dress day outfits

Kitchen Reset

  • Clean out the fridge
  • Plan weekly meals and snacks
  • Restock snack drawers or bins for kids
  • Pack or prep Monday’s lunches
  • Catch up on dirty dishes
  • Wash all water bottles and cups for the week

House Touch-Up

  • Reset main living spaces (quick tidy/declutter)
  • Clean out the entryway/drop zone
